Part-time operator position, roughly 30 hours a week M-Thur (12pm-7pm). The Palmetto Can Cleaning “Route Driver”, drives a custom built truck throughout the Greenville/Spartanburg/Anderson counties, stopping at up to 8-10 residential clients per hour. After the clients’ trash & recycle Cans have been emptied by their trash hauler, our drivers load the empty Cans onto our truck (using a hydraulic lifting mechanism)- the Cans are cleaned using heated high pressure water. Once the Cans have been Sanitized, Disinfected & Deodorized, the driver conducts a final inspection and returns the Cans neatly up the client’s driveway before continuing onto the next client. Some manual cleaning is necessary depending on the Can condition. New client cleanings may take take up to 10+ minutes, existing “maintenance clients” approximately 4-6 minutes. Some lifting is required. CDL not required but preferred. Must have clean background and driver record (over 25 years old for insurance purposes).
